Fieldstone Equestrian & Show Facility Announces $25,000 Grand-Prix, over $75,000 in Prizes in MayHalifax, MA – December 26, 2009 – Fieldstone Equestrian & Show Facility is proud to announce a whole new line up classes for the 2010 Fieldstone Spring Festival. Fieldstone will host a class schedule that will include a $25,000 Grand-Prix, $10,000 3’3” Hunter Derby, $10,000 High Jr/AO Jumper Classic, $5,000 Child/Adult Jumper Classic, and a $2,500 Pony Hunter Derby. Held May 19-23, 2010, the Fieldstone Spring Festival, USEF "AA" rated, will be the biggest event ever at Fieldstone. "This event will usher in a new era for Fieldstone Equestrian & Show Facility" said Scott Clawson, owner and manager of Fieldstone. The premier classes will be highlighted during the event with great commentary, exhibitor parties, and various other fun events. After various capitol improvements, the facility is in its prime. Last year, Fieldstone added a new Jumper ring with GGT footing, a redesigned grass Grand-Prix Field, hundreds of new jumps, new stabling, and many other facility improvements. This year, Fieldstone has added Euro-Felt footing to the main hunter, main equitation, and jumper schooling arenas. The new jumper ring also received added material to improve upon the already great footing. All other rings also received facelifts, including raised bases to improve drainage and added footing. "One of the biggest advantages to our facility is the ability to use the jumper ring as an alternative to the grass Grand-Prix field in inclement weather" said Scott. "Last year we made a commitment to providing a quality facility, a progressive class schedule, and excellent customer service. I strive to provide the best quality show experience for exhibitors and professionals alike. Hosting these new classes gives many more opportunities to our competitors" said Shawn Clawson. 2010 sets up to be a groundbreaking year for Fieldstone Equestrian & Show Facility. "The Spring Festival is just the first step in the new direction of Fieldstone. We plan on continuing this evolution at our June and August shows by increasing prize money, and continuing to provide a quality show facility" said Shawn. Fieldstone Equestrian & Show Facility is the premier show facility in New England. Just 28 miles south of Boston, ideally situated on 106 acres in the heart of southeastern Massachusetts.
